A Tribute to Betsy K. Matthews

The Board of Directors of H.O.W. hosts dinner reception at Club Colette,

Palm Beach honoring Mrs. Betsy K. Matthews for her leadership, dedication and support to H.O.W.

 

H.O.W. supporters gathered on April 6, 2013 at Club Colette in Palm Beach to honor Betsy K. Matthews, past chairwoman of the H.O.W. board of directors. Betsy has been, and continues to be, a driving force in helping women in our community who are fighting ovarian cancer, and will continue to be an active H.O.W. board member.

 

"Betsy's efforts and dedication were pivotal for H.O.W. to become a recognized leader in our community for the prevention and treatment of ovarian cancer," said Fern Fodiman, chairman of the H.O.W. board of directors. "As we have come to know her over the years, her friendship, compassion, and kindness are all treasured gifts and we are grateful to have her continued support as a member of our Board of Directors."

 

Some of those in attendance included Betsy K. and George Matthews, Jean and William Matthews, Fern Fodiman, Anne Messer, John Lacy, Lori and Bruce Gendelman, Dr. Robert Knapp, Dorsey Smith-Seed, Ann and Michael Candido, Heather and Patrick Henry, Andrea Bradley and Alice and Cater Randolph.
