Kyle MacLachlan:

You may be wondering why Kyle but the answer lies below!

Kyle is an American actor who has brought indelible charm and a quirky sophistication to some of film and television’s most memorable roles.

He is best known for his performance as FBI agent Dale Cooper in David Lynch’s groundbreaking series Twin Peaks, for which he received two Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe Award in 1990. In 2017 Kyle reprised his role in the critically acclaimed Twin Peaks Revival, which earned him a 2018 Golden Globe nomination.

Kyle made his feature debut in Lynch’s DUNE and also starred in Lynch’s classic BLUE VELVET; in addition to his many other film roles, which include films ranging from Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster production THE FLINTSTONES  to Oliver Stone’s THE DOORS,

He most recently starred in the films The House with a Clock in its Walls opposite Cate Blanchett and Jack Black and as the gregarious and enthusiastic Mayor of Portland, alongside Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, in the final season of the cult-hit-comedy Portlandia,  with Tom Hardy in Fonzo, and in  Telsa  in which he plays Thomas Edison alongside Ethan Hawke

Kyle also appeared in Steven Soderbergh’s Netflix feature High Flying Bird and in the American sitcom television series Carol's Second Act on CBS, plus a limited series Atlantic Crossing, in which he plays U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

In addition to his many other film roles, Kyle is a familiar face on television and has had prominent roles in such shows including Sexandthe City, DesperateHousewives and How I MetYourMother.

He also has a passion for winemaking and created his own wine, “Pursued by a Bear,” a Cabernet blend; “Baby Bear,” a Syrah named in honor of his son Callum, who was born in 2008, the year of the first harvest and “Blushing Bear,” his Rose was released in 2015.

MacLachlan was devastated when his mother, Catherine née Stone died of ovarian cancer in 1986 at age 53, shortly before Blue Velvet was released. She had been diagnosed while he was filming Dune in 1983 and delayed informing him of the diagnosis. She had fought the cancer for years.
